In the summer, we rather joyfully visited the world’s best shop. It would be possible for any games, puzzle or model enthusiast to spend their life savings in here, so the enjoyment was somewhat tempered by the need to ensure that we would leave still possessing the necessary funds to feed ourselves for the rest of the month. Alright, that’s an exaggeration, but not actually a very big one.

Great story on the BBC News site today about passengers stranded on the London Eye for… wait for it… a whole hour on Easter Monday. During which they were reportedly ordered to crack open emergency fluid, blankets and portable toilets. Declare a national emergency!
