From video-sharing site Vimeo, here are a series of webcam captures of performance artist Marina Abramovic’s exhibition The Artist is Present which was performed for three months between March and May 2010 at The Museum of Modern Art in New York.
Marina sits across from any museum guest that decides they would like to perform with her. This is the animation video pieced together by Dimitri Chrysanthopoulos from those webcam captures.The effect is of motion-capture photography, and it’s a great way of sharing the performance.
